Just joined and I have a question.

I'm wanting to sculpt a SD sized doll, can anyone give me recommendations as to supplies, tools, and what not? I was thinking about getting LaDoll Clay, but before I do, I want to know what kind of tools I'll need and if anyone has any advice/patterns to making a BJD.

Thank you so much!

graph paper is your friend. if you cna plan out the size, the face of it (side profiles really are your friend) and how the body will connect, then you can do it!

as for tools. i only used an exacto knife, a brush adn some rubbing alchol (for smoothign the surface) nad sand paper afterwards. You can get clay carving tools as well.
